Peridot

Peridot is a mineral that belongs to the silicate group.
Its name comes from the Arabic ‘faridat’, meaning ‘precious stone’.
It exists only in shades of green, caused by the presence of iron, nickel and sometimes chromium.
Peridot comes from Burma and the Red Sea region.
